Researcher in agronomy and phytopathology with modeling skills

Your main tasks: 

•Develop models to predict phytosanitary diseases;

•Analyze field data (from users of our mobile application) as well as third-party data to improve pest disease prediction models;

•Stay informed. Regularly state of the art in agronomy and phytopathology, carry out technological benchmarks; innovation and continuous improvement is at the heart of our strategy. 

• Identify and establish technical partnerships; This mission involves active monitoring and the ability to build strategic relationships for the company.

• Represent the company at technical events, sharing our progress and projects. 

• Communicate and publish in scientific journals. 

Required profile :

• Holds a PhD in agronomy or equivalent, specializing in phytopathology; 

• You have significant experience on modelling projects related to the prediction of phytosanitary diseases; 

• You know how to independently conduct research projects in agronomy/ phytopathology; 

• You have excellent knowledge of data modeling and analysis; 

• You know how to work in an agile environment with frequent iterations and feedback loops; 

• If you are passionate. e about agriculture, environmental protection and sustainable development, it’s a big plus.

AI Researcher/Data Science

Your main tasks: 

•  Work on complex problems combining physical, climatic and agronomic data from multiple sources as well as time series, images or text to be analyzed and exploited to create models for predicting phytosanitary diseases; 

•Model solutions, perform short iteration cycles, validate the models created and put them into production with the help of the developers of the mobile development team; 

• Retrieve and analyze field data (from users of our mobile application) as well as third-party data to improve pest disease prediction models; 

• Stay informed. Regularly of the state of the art (Data Science/ AI), carry out technological benchmarks; innovation and continuous improvement is at the heart of our strategy. 

• Identify and establish technical partnerships; This mission involves active monitoring and the ability to build strategic relationships for the company.

• Represent the company at technical events, sharing our progress and projects. 

• Communicate and publish in scientific journals.

Required profile :

• Holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics, Data Science or Artificial Intelligence or equivalent; 

• You have already worked on modelling projects related to plant production or even the prediction of phytosanitary diseases; 

• You know how to independently lead Artificial Intelligence projects and implement solutions (heuristics and machine learning) to complex problems; 

• You know how to work in an agile environment with frequent iterations and feedback loops 

• If you have experience with geospatial data analysis, it’s a plus 

• If you are passionate. e about agriculture, environmental protection and sustainable development, it’s a big plus.
